Madeleine Culp debuts her show Supermoon Hot Tub at The Factory Theatre this Wednesday as part of The Sydney Comedy Festival.
Madeleine has been performing stand-up for the past five years.
In 2010 she won the Sydney Comedy Festival Best Newcomer Award.
In 2011, she was named as one of the Sydney Morning Herald's Top Ten Next Big Things in Comedy.
From 2011-2013, she gigged across the U.K and America. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and made it into the Semi-Finals for the UK Funny Women Comedy Competition.
She’s even had a joke published in Penguin Book's Funny Buggers: the best lines from Australian Stand-Up.
After two-years absence from Australia, she returned in late 2013 and went straight back into it; performing all around Sydney, and also got herself a featured spot in Shane Matheson's Melbourne International Comedy Festival show Show called Shane Talent Time.
She’ll get you with her lovable, awkward charm right away.
Her show promises weird tales and a lot of laughs…there are many reasons to it check it out. When I asked her, this is what she gave me:
“You should come to my show because it's will be more fun than going to work, but less fun than seeing the earth from the moon. You'll have a good time, hear about things, see a dance, hear a song and learn at least 3 new party tricks.
You shouldn't come to my show if you like a lot of paedophile jokes because my show contains none of that."
See her at The Factory Theatre this Wednesday or Friday, you won’t regret it (and she is not joking about those party tricks).
