Reece Piper and Andrew Hastings are two Sydney based comedians to watch out for.
Earlier this year they did a few shows at Adelaide Fringe as part of the show We're not Scared Of You, along with other fellow fresh comedy faces Daniel Muggleton, Samuel Kettler and Anith Mukherjee.
This week, the pair set out together as part of Sydney Comedy Festival, with their show Mortal Komedy.
In a battle that is set to entertain, Reece talks about his tenuous understanding of social etiquette, working as a baggage handler and living beyond his means, while making light of having a uni degree that he has no idea what to do with. That, along with his self-proclaimed latent alcohol issues make for some good entertainment.
Meanwhile, Andrew lays it all with his self-deprecating sense of humour, with reference to his low self esteem, lack of human contact, and daddy issues, allowing you to have a laugh at his expense.
Decide for yourself whose tales of misfortune provides for better entertainment.
Upon asking the two why you should go and see their show, Andrew responded with, "Our own hilarious failures and shortcomings will make you feel better about your own life."
Reece says, "This show will be very funny and if you don't see it, all your friends will hate you."
If you are looking for a midweek comedy fix, they have a show this Wednesday or a second show on Friday. I would definitely recommend checking them out
