Elite chess players at Hyde Park

Ah glorious Hyde Park. Yes, you do serve a multitude of purposes in this diverse city full of love and culture. To begin with, you're at the hub of everything good. You're right behind St James and Museum Train Stations - perfect. Therefore, you're not too far away from the shopping precinct that is Pitt Street.

There is a cafe here too

Events wise, Hyde Park you're a busy beaver now. on Australia Day, you host a few kid-friendly shows. You also play a role in the Sydney Festival. At the time of Mardi Gras, you're popular again. I have started many City2Surf races at this park too.

These chairs create so much magic at Hyde Park

Some free art exhibitions also reign at the ever popular Hyde Park in abundance also. Think Art & About. Hyde Park, you open our eyes. You're also romantic. You're a great place to lie down and enjoy a picnic or a cuddle (why not have both) with a loved one. Whether the food is purchased from food halls nearby or not, it doesn't matter.

That popular water feature

Are you a chess lover? Whether you are or you aren't, you will stop and admire those talented chess players in this larger than life chess play area.

Walking magic

Hyde Park, you're also a great locale to lie in the sun and do absolutely nothing. You're also the perfect hot spot for photography and weddings. Love the water fountain. If you find the time and inclination, make a wish. Hyde Park, you're also not that far from the action of Macquarie Street with the Domain nearby - not to mention the beautiful Art Gallery of New South Wales. With this, i'm only scratching the surface.

Immerse yourself in nature

You're a great place to enjoy a twilight stroll, or even a place to run around in the middle of the day. Love the Christmas Tree at that time of the year too. There is even a war memorial to pay out respects. Oxford Street Darlinghurst, and nearby Surry Hills are simply a stone's throw away with you in between.

A Christmas tree

Love nature. Love life. Love Sydney. Thank you Hyde Park for keeping the beauty of Sydney alive for free, and for all.

Lovely
