Darling Harbour has leapt into the Christmas spirit with their month-long event called Santa Fest.

There are lots of free events during Santa Fest. Therefore a trip to Darling Harbour during December comes highly recommended.

There have already been some great events, including the annual Variety Santa Fun Run and the Water Spectacular. There are plenty more, with activities continuing right up until Christmas Eve, as at the time of writing this.

You wont miss the 21 inflatable Santas in the bay

As you head towards Darling Harbour, the first thing you’re likely to see are 21 inflatable Santa's sitting in the bay. You won’t miss them. At five metres tall each they are huge, and there are 21 of them sitting out on the water - waiting for you to have your photo taken with them. At night, the inflatable Santa's glow, thereby adding an extra touch of Christmas magic.

Spot the other Santas around Darling Harbour

Take a stroll around Darling Harbour, and you’ll spot other Santa's in fun and unusual locations. Not real Santa's, but even more inflatable ones. It’s all part of the Christmas fun.

Darling Harbour is also running a Snap a Santa photo competition. Take a selfie with the inflatable Santa's, and then post it on Facebook or Instagram, and you could win some exciting prizes.

There are carols under the big Christmas Tree

Everyone loves carols at Christmas, and during December at Darling Harbour, there are a capella groups singing carols under the big Christmas Tree from Thursday to Sunday at 7pm. There will also be a special performance of carols on Christmas Eve.

Every Saturday night up until Christmas, there will be fireworks over Darling Harbour. There are also fireworks on Christmas Eve. The fireworks start at 9pm.

There are Santas everywhere.
