Ah , how much the humans and dogs of Sydney actually love you. It is great that the local council are also going to re-develop you for the better. The residents of St Peters are allowed to have their say on the matter in a couple of days, as at the time of writing this.



You're not far from St Peter's train station, and must I say (just digressing for a minute) you're not far from some cool public art in Sydney either.

You might be familiar with those tall chinmey's right on the end of King Street heading towards Newtown, and where the Princes Highway reigns. On the other hand you might not be either. That's ok. This is where starts.



is home to a number of events that are designed to keep you fit and healthy with a community feel. The St Peters parkrun (yes, this event is spelt with a small p) is on every Saturday at 9am, and many athletic souls start their 5km entourage at those chimneys.



Yofit is another company that run fitness events, and you will also come across a few tug-o-wars in action. Otherwise, there is a clever kid play space. It is simple, yet I love the tiled designs. There is some sand, combined with slippery dips and swings.



Dog lovers will unit for a social mecca. Many dogs flock to , and nearly the entire doggy paradise are leash free to run around in open grassed serenity. There is a kiosk on site too. Many mums and friends catch up with their bubs and dogs in this area too.



A great place to exercise. Run or walk, whatever takes your fancy.

When: Sunday morning is also lovely. For the St Peters parkrun, come at 8:45am on a Saturday morning. The run starts at 9am.

Good for kids: Excellent for kids.
