Top Places to go Shopping in the City
At the designer level at Westfield Sydney, looking down.
When you want to go shopping in the Sydney CBD, you'll want to make this experience count. Occasionally, there are some cool events such as
Vogue's Fashion Night Out put on to lure some hard working individuals into spending their hard earned cash. In other words, let's go shopping in the city.
Retail therapy is great once in a while. Regardless of the economic situation, we all want to (and need to) treat ourselves once in a while to some good retail therapy.
Pitt Street Mall
Some sacrifices were made for two years from 2008 - at the time when Westfield acquired four shopping centres in
Pitt Street Mall . Pitt Street Mall was one dead hub until Westfield Sydney was born on the back of Sydney Central Plaza, Centrepoint, Skygarden and the Imperial Arcade. Now we're having a great time at
Westfield Sydney , and yes Zara is still around. For some Sydney residents, the adjustment periods are still happening - more so if you're not the type to be spending time in the city that often.
A glimpse of Mid City Centre
Fantastic chill out spaces reign.
Mid City Centre was also renovated, and has come into a modern hub with some fantastic retail outlets. Even cooler, there is a gym and a place where you can enjoy some free yoga. Greatness has also occurred on the back of these renovations.
Pitt Street Mall is also great for free street entertainment. Otherwise the Strand Arcade nearby is also lovely, not to mention heritage at David Jones.
Across the road for the ever popular Apple Store
On the luxury end,
Louis Vuitton on the corner of King and George Streets is a fantastic retail therapy haven for high end luxury designer goods. Otherwise, there is always the
Apple Store across the road. A fantastic service in getting your MacBook Pro repaired.
There you have it for now. If other places come to mind, please leave a comment where indicated.
