Westfield Chatswood

Westfield Chatswood

: seven floors of intense activity, especially on weekends. I could stop right now, yet my take on this shopping centre won't do this article any justice if I do not elaborate in giving you a feel as to how much this shopping centre has changed, blossomed and grown up in the last year...at least.

Then again, you're not far from the train station, and parking is generally not an issue. Irrespective as to whether or not you live in the North Shore, this shopping centre is a social hub of food, clothes and entertainment. Then again, there are two floors of foodie paradise. Cheap quality Asian restaurant meals, as well as the traditional healthy and fast food favourites.

The range of clothing and beauty stores is a true shopper hot spot grabber. Myer is on almost every floor, and you even have Spanish success story Zara occupying some cool and cosy premises here. Just the perfect place to buy some new clothes, irrespective as to whether such clothing items are on sale or not. On another topic, the telecommunications providers now have a permanent indoor shop front, rather than an open stand. Progress.

The pets store (formerly Pets Pradise) has enjoyed a facelift. It appears that Sydney siders love their dogs more than they do their cats. This particular pet store sells way more dogs than the cosy, independent ones.

Everything you need is on seven floors, as well as a Hoyts cinema right at the top - with a La Premiere space too.

Free kids performances are generally on during the school holidays. Coin operated rides and toy stores are also popular for the little ones, as well as a place called Softplay.

Luxury candle brand Glasshouse Fragrances even have their own shop front here too. Lovely.

A space you definitely want to return to, and spend at least a couple of hours here. Love the thick, fresh and plush carpet you can walk on near some of the top fashion and jewellery retailers too.
