Indian Dance School Zumba Classes Baulkham Hills
Group fitness classes are not held solely for the purpose of improving fitness these days. They have evolved to be socialising platforms for many women and men. The socialising aspect most certainly motivates more and more women to join these classes. Janani Beadle, the instructor at the
Indian Dance School Zumba Class at Baulkham Hills is an advocate of making fitness fun. So much so that she puts effort on not only making her Zumba classes enjoyable, but she also organises outings once a term for her Zumba ladies so that they can relax and enjoy each others company and form
fitness friendships in a non-fitness related atmosphere.
On Tuesday nights the dance studio where the classes are held becomes a sea of colour when ladies in their Lulu Lemons, Lorna Janes, Pumas and Adidas with matching shoes and a tinge of make up trot along to chit chat, have a bit of a laugh, and to get fit. The scene can only be described as an explosion of an active fashion wear exhibition.
If exercising is all about sweat and pain, I for one, would not be motivated to leave the warmth of my home and go out to exercise. If you throw in fashion and socialising combined with achieving physical fitness; I would most certainly get off my easy chair and brave the weather to attend a class or two.
Through experience I can tell that Zumba is an overall effective workout. It is a fusion of many dance styles from Salsa, Samba, Mambo and even a little bit of Bollywood, all put together for our pleasure. All you have to do is sway your body to the rhythms belting out of the boom box. Even if you are not an skillful dancer or just someone with two left feet; Zumba is not going to be an impossibility. Following the instructor surely guarantees that you will be a master of the craft before long.
Ones you've done your leg and your arm movements, your lunges and squats most certainly will leave you puffed; but the promise of a fun and effective fitness regime will surely be motivation enough to keep you going.
If you become a fan of Zumba or somewhat of an expert and feel like a Zumba hit midweek, like many of us do, Janani conducts classes almost every day of the week in many locations in the Norwest region.
