Avoca Beachside Markets

is a must go to activity.

Everytime I have been, I have picked up some beautiful one off pieces from furniture to kids clothes, and even beautiful cakes and sauces.

These are like no other markets, as each stall is full of good quality products and fresh produce - in tandem with some home grown goodies.



You could almost refer Avoca Markets to the 'Byron Bay' markets of the Central Coast. It's got a hippy vibe with fun vibrant music - as well as tarot readers, food stalls and art pieces you couldn't grab anywhere else.

The best part is that the owners of each stall are all professionals, so you know the items you pick up are going to be good quality.



is just that - located by the beach on the lake side. So why not pick up a coffee - sit the kids by the water, and watch the day roll by.

This is certainly a market day I have not missed in months, and knowing my kids have just as much fun as I do is a bonus.

Parking can be a little crazy at times, however if you cant find a park in the allocated car parking spaces; you are guaranteed to get one along the streets of Avoca, and walk to the markets from there.



Located 25 minutes from Gosford, it's an easy drive and a beautiful one at that. It is worth throwing the kids in the car for a nice family day out.

Good for kids: Great for kids as they can listen and dance to the music. Also a great place to buy beautiful one off pieces for kids.
