The EG Waterhouse National are located in the Sutherland Shire, overlooking the beautiful Yowie Bay. The gardens are 25km from Sydney's CBD, and only a 20 minute walk from Caringbah Railway Station - making it easily accessible for visitors from both Sydney's North and South.
The gardens feature small paths and walkways through beautiful flower displays that are in bloom the whole year.
The spot is perfect for a picnic, with many grassy spots and barbeque areas. The gardens also have two playground areas that are good for small children to play on.

Let the kids feed the numerous ducks that inhabit the many ponds. Duck food can be bought from the Teahouse at the top of the gardens for only 60 cents.

The Teahouse overlooks the gardens, and is a great location for high tea, breakfast or lunch.
In terms of amenities, the gardens have two playgrounds, barbeques, grassy areas and toilets.
