Capitol Square Games and Photos Fun

Square is a great little arcade off George Street, next door to the Capitol Square theatre. It hosts a wide variety of restaurants, electronic and computer parts stores - as well as a level full of exciting games and Japanese photo booths.



I've been frequenting Capitol Square for years. With family or friends, I've always had a great time eating lunch and then running up the stairs with a handful of coins to try my luck at the crane games.



They have a great variety of games, from beginner level crane games, car racing, percussion and shooting games to the most expert level of crane games. These games are all full of interesting stuffed toys and electronic prizes.




My other favourite experience in Capitol Square is the Japanese photo booths. With a fair few that actually speak English, it's a whirl wind of fast paced and confusing fun; especially in trying to fit large amounts of people in a small box, and hoping you've pressed all the right buttons in time to take the photo. The biggest challenge is in always being able to set up everyones position before the timer runs out and takes the picture.





After all the scurry, you have the opportunity to draw and edit the photos with writing slogans; as well as adding boarders or donning everyone in a silly hat - as well as finally being able to print out your photos and cute wallet size stickers.



It's still my favourite way to commemorate a fun and friendly day in Sydney's CBD.
