Chicks At The Flicks Gold Class at Event Cinemas Bondi Junction

It feels like a special treat to come to a monthly At The Flicks movie event, and guys you're more than welcome to join in. Many of these movies you'll actually love. I have come to Event Cinemas at Bondi Junction (in the Westfield shopping complex) a few times now, and have mainly attended one of these events in Vmax class. The time had come (thanks to Les Miserables) to go Gold Class, and must I say for the right movie, this is $65 well spent.



If you're coming to a Chicks At The Flicks Gold Class movie event here, do not go straight to the Gold Class lounge. If you wish to do the latter, only do this to hand in your meal voucher for the meal (included) to be delivered to your seat during the movie session.



The party begins at Set Bar, and there are a few people there marketing their products and services. At this time of the day, many Sydney souls want to dip into some canapes. For starters, tuck into some bread with pesto, and some olive kind of dip. Drinks need to be purchased. However, I was asked if I wanted to use my voucher for a glass of champagne (included in the Gold Class package) at Set Bar. Pass on that, and get it delivered to you hand and foot in style. Ordering a Midori Lemonade ($7) was a wise decision, and saw me through 45 minutes before it was time to head into the Gold Class lounge.



Other delicious canapes (included) include some crunchy spring rolls with chilli sauce, and some arancini balls. A mini ice cream cone (I chose a berry flavour) from Gelatissimo was also an unexpected treat.



This was before enjoying some amazing high tea that came with a few Lindt lindor balls, together with some cheese and crackers. The high tea also included some pumpkin chip chunks, and a couple of sliders with authentic wagyu beef. So divine. The Gold Class sundae was the finishing treat. Delicious vanilla bean ice cream with crushed maltesers...yes a great way to end a Gold Class experience here. Set Bar also comes with some great harbour views, with glimpses of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.



Being an attendee at Chicks At The Flicks at Bondi Junction, you might also be in with a chance to win a few different lucky door prizes. Goodies bags with beauty product samples are also given out. Gold Class guests also receive a black Chicks At The Flicks blanket to enjoy during the session and afterwards.

When: Preview screening of chicks flicks held once a month, usually on a Wednesday night from 7pm. Canapes at Set bar start from 6pm.

Good for kids: No. You need to be at least 18 years of age to enter Gold Class.
