District 3 Entertainment Centre

If you’re looking for some fast-paced fun in the Hornsby Westfield area, then look no further than the District 3 entertainment centre. More than just an arcade, it provides a wide variety of games and activities. It also has the bonus of being reasonably priced, and is suitable for all ages.



District 3 is nestled in an outside corner of Hornsby Westfield Shopping Centre. This has the dual benefit of being incredibly easy to get to on foot from anywhere in central Hornsby, while still being well enough tucked away that it avoids huge crowds. It is just a five minute walk from Hornsby Train Station.



The entertainment centre offers a great variety of arcade games such as air hockey; first person shooters; multiple themed pinball machines; car racing games, and claw machines. Like most arcades, there is a prize system in place. Therefore you have a chance of winning toys or accessories.



As well as the arcade games, there are also many other entertaining activities on offer. In the one location, District 3 boasts laser tag, dodgem cars, and a bungee run. While these activities do cost a little extra, they are perfect for parties or even for small groups. The centre also offers combo deals if you want to participate in multiple games.



During my visit, my personal favourite activity was the laser tag. It is $13.90 per person, and $5 per person for additional games. While this isn't cheap, it is still less than what many other arcades in Sydney charge for a similar experience. The atmosphere within the course is fantastic - with special music, eerie mood lighting, and fog effects throughout the multi level arena.



Whether you’re looking to kill some time while waiting for a movie at Hornsby cinema, or planning a party for a large group of friends; District 3 is a lot of fun.
