National Rugby League NRL Games in Sydney 2014
ANZ Stadium is where most NRL games will be played
The home of the National Rugby League in Australia is Sydney. It’s where nine out of the 16 teams are based, and more NRL games are played in Sydney than anywhere else.
Allianz Stadium at Moore Park
You could also say it is fitting that a Sydney team, the Bondi Junction-based Sydney Roosters are the current premiership holders.
There are 26 Rounds of action, followed by the exciting finals.
The NRL has confirmed the times, dates and venues for every game up until August, so fans have plenty of time to organise their travel plans.
The season has several themed rounds, including a Heritage Round, Rivalry Round, Women In League Round, and a Member’s Round.
Can a Sydney team win in 2014
Games will be played at ten different Sydney grounds, including the historic SCG; plus two grounds just outside of Sydney - Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford, and WIN in Wollongong. The most used ground, ANZ at Homebush, will host 27 games.
