The Bay Run Sydney
Heading onto the second bridge at Iron Cove
Such a popular 7km walking and running trail in Sydney's Inner West. If you live in the Rozelle, Leichhardt and Drummoyne areas, and you love exercising; you'll be inspired to walk or run 'the bay' on a daily basis. If not on a daily basis, then almost on a daily basis.
Such a great walking trail
A popular training ground for popular Sydney running events as the City2Surf, and the Sydney Running Festival. There are running and walking groups that spend their time on 'the bay.' An annual event called the Seven Bridges Walk use part of the bay for this annual charity event.
Pristine water views
The starting point for you depends on where you live along this 7km trail of paradise, of which is currently fenced off in parts - as at the time of writing this. Roadworks are going on in Drummoyne and Five Dock at this time. Personally, King George Park at Rozelle is the ideal starting point, heading over the 'second bridge' into Drummoyne, and leading onto Five Dock.
A great bike riding trail, yet excellent for walking or running. Just to get away from it all, and paves the ultimate way in unwinding. There are a few pleasant distractions along the way, from water views to fitness equipment in a couple of parks. Speaking of bikes, Leichhardt allows two separate trails along the bay. Love the long jump pit at King George Park. A great distraction.
Other ways to keep fit
A great workout, and an awesome way to feel fantastic. The Bay Run easily puts a smile on your face. You always need to drink plenty of water afterwards. There is no need to bring a water bottle and music. Just enjoy the ambience, and you'll be back home to freshen up before you know it.
