Vogue Fashion Night Out

Vogue Fashion Night Out

Posted 2013-09-05 by Justine Crowleyfollow
A night of fun indeed. Just about to begin.

is on the international radar in the world of fashion. Due to the sheer size of Sydney's population, we have even made it on the hit list. From the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) right through to Martin Place; this annual event (usually held in September) is a shoppers paradise.

Free cocktails too. Cant complain.

For starters, many of the stores offer generous discounts. This is just the beginning. This is where saving up pays, and giving that plastic a bit of a workout pays dividends for you, provided you can pay off your purchases within the interest free period of course.

Candy and champagne paradise at Review, Westfield Sydney.

For example, Review at Westfield Sydney offered 30% off their full price dresses, with a pretty belt to match. Usually the retail price for each dress is around $260, yet you can buy one at this fun night out for only $180, even when the sales are not on. Plus receive a freebie with every purchase, like some Review Nail Polish, and be welcomed into the store with a glass of bubbly and some candy treats. Not to mention great fitting advice. Lovely customer service.

Popular among many of the chicks present, and why not.

L'Occitane offer free hand massages, with a complimentary lolly bar, and a free gift with every purchase. Ever so popular were the Swarovski Crystal Stickers, of which these trendy sparkles come in a myriad of designs that you can stick to your iPhone, or even on your diary or notepad in giving it some 'sparkle' for only $8 a pop. Normally you can only buy five of these for $50. Their brow bar, and their red mocktails were to die for.

Let me entertain you too

Prada were giving out free champagne, and so were David Jones , as well as free popcorn. Free fairy floss was also handed out, among with the opportunity to taste some other beautiful canapes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage treats that included some Santa Vittoria classics.

Sambag had a pop-up bar, and free beauty product samples were also handed out. Making a Glasshouse Fragrances candle purchase for only $39.95, meant a free candle product to the value of $18.95 was also handed out at David Jones.

Jamie Durie speaking at David Jones, Elizabeth Street store about a new organic skin care range just launched.

Indeed a great night, not to mention free manicures and musical entertainment. Ooh and the guy models entertained, showing off their six packs at an invitation only bar, where the view was still priceless for those that did not make it to exclusivity in that sense.

The crowds reign

Free scoops of Gelato Messina Ice Cream at The Strand Arcade was gone way too early. No wonder, because this Sydney ice cream sensation was voted the best gelato in Australia by the Good Food Guide. Loved it, and there was no need to go overboard on the purchases. Hangovers can be guaranteed though. Looking forward to the next event.
