30 Days of Fashion Beauty Sydney

30 Days of Fashion Beauty Sydney

The grand finale

One of the most exciting activities in Spring in Sydney. Indeed, 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty sets the scene for those who love their fashion. Sydney, yes we are lucky. Why? The very first weekend always starts with a series of catwalk shows, with free entry upon registering at the 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty webpage in advance.

The time really flies on the catwalk, and in the audience.

That's right. This annual event starts off in Sydney with the Runway Weekend, usually held at Lower Town Hall in the city, on the corner of George and Druitt Streets, opposite the Queen Victoria Building. This is where some of the best fashion magazines, to the likes of BAZAAR come alive with a series of mini 15-20 minute fashion parades. Stunning decor to begin with. Glamourous clothes and jewellery, combined with a goodie bag of a few free beauty product samples to take home at the end is also provided.

Love it

If you're ultra lucky, you might score a free massage, hosted by Smooth FM outside. See Sydney Life, the other capital cities do not get this kind of royal treatment at the start of this iconic month of fashion, only to enjoy Vogue's Fashion Night Out five days later (again, if we're lucky, and as at the time of writing this Sydney, yes we are.)

Opulent surroundings indeed

The fashion and beauty fun continues in Sydney for the month of sensational September (Spring is in), as there are girls night out events in the city, and in Bondi Junction, as well as in Chatswood to continue with the 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty fanfare. Also in around mid-September, Martin Place goes wild with free beauty treatments in exchange for becoming a Priceline Sisterhood member if you aren't already one, and you're expected to provide (usually) a gold coin donation. If you're lucky, you might also nab yourself a goodies bag filled with beauty and skin care products.

This event goes on in other states, yet Sydney's got it fashionistically (if such a word exists) good. If not, pretty darn good.
